I only have this picture because I just got this bike 2 days ago. I do have the right pedals on it now though. I bought it to replace my department store Schwinn Prelude I've been riding for 2 years.

My "daily wear" ride is this early model Novara Big Buzz. I love the bike, and use it for errands, hauling cargo, scooting around town, family rides, and fun rides e.g. July 4th parade and Critical Mass. It's bristling with extras, like two different trailer mounts, a sidecar mount, Monkey lights and all the utility goodies like lock, lights, repair kit, pump, fenders, etc., yet it still rides pretty fast (I did bump the cogset to a 13-34 8spd, and crank to a 39/53 to get better range). It's truly my go-to bike year round, sun, rain, snow, dirt or pavement.

My all-purpose bike, a 1995 Trek 730 Multitrack. It's in the process of being majorly retro-fitted with higher quality components that suit my riding style better than what came on it.

It's a 1993 Giant ATX 780. The original Giant Zorbers fork was recalled, so Giant was nice enough to let me pick out a new one. With the Surly Troll fork, it feels pretty close to a touring bike, and I think this may be the best bike I've had the pleasure of owning. Surprisingly, the original LX rapid-fires still work great.

My primary ride is now this Road bike, I mainly do 40 mile rides, so my Hybrid has been resting every since i got the road bike.

eh, I need a better picture. This is my best ride, I can chain it up when the warehouse door is open. Not sure how I feel about this ****ty single speed beater being more fun/comfortable than my custom fitted soma, but there you go. I ended up switching the seats (as the suggestion of my fitter) so now the orange bike has a brown brooks on it, haha.
I take it to work almost every day (sometimes I do take the soma), strap a milk crate on it for grocery runs, and lock it up in dubious neighborhoods.

Nice! How would you describe the ride? I'm considering upgrading to a bare frame next year and the cyclo-cross and touring bikes from Surly and Soma are at the top of my list. Is the Double Cross more like a road bike, more like a mountain bike, in between the two, something altogether different?
