Protective bag/cover
 

Does anyone make a protective bag or cover that will fit over my bike when it's mounted on a hitch-mounted carrier? (bike is hung from the top tube). I take my bike to Florida in the winter, and I 75 road salt is a killer.

and a lot can be done with tarps and cordage, you can set new grommets
in an existing tarp's edges to tailor it to your needs..

DON'T leave the cover on the bike for very long after you take your trip. A cover will hold all that moisture inside leading to the rust/rot you're trying to avoid.
