I bought one of these for my brother, who had had prostate removal. He never rode it, so I took it back and evaluated it. I didn't find the quality to be anything special. But more importantly, I found that by removing the saddle's "nose" I could no longer use it for balance or steering (which are important inputs to the handling of a bike).

I sold the saddle on eBay, though, which was nice.

To the OP, what kind of bike do you ride, how do you intend to ride it, and what adjustments have you made to your saddle so far to make it more comfortable for you? More info is needed to diagnose your issue.

A photo of the actual bike would help a lot. PG

I think those look terrible. Out of the saddles I've used, I'd say my favorites are the Brooks B15, E3 Form, and Velo Webspring. No nose on the saddle gives you less control, and giant cushy saddles are usually the worst thing to be using if you go a distance that can be measured in miles. Velo Webspring saddles seem to be an exception to this for me, I think I've done rides up to 30 miles on one, and been fine.

I also like the E3 Form, but it's out of production. You can find them in eBay from time to time. Good for narrow hips and an aggressive position.

Recumbent bikes/trikes have seats.. other bikes have Saddles.

Only one person I found liking those noseless 2 cushion things,
did not so much sit on it as lean back against it, putting their weight instead on the pedals.

I'd hate that..

Selle Anatomica splits the leather sling with a hole down the center,
so the saddle moves with your legs.. in 2 sections, but still has a nose .

as described , you can steer the bike from the saddle , leaning it.
nose of saddle is the lever for that.

Another guy for the Brooks B-17. My old Continental had an Ideal leather seat that fit nicely. I picked up a sprung cruiser seat at a garage sale. Believe the brand was Tailbones. It had the right amount of padding & springing. Did a few 40 mile rides on the cruiser.

Noseless seats are plentiful on Ebay. No one seems to keep them very long.

I think the seats in the ancient MD-80 are more comfortable than B-737 seats. Saddles are a total crap shoot.

I have used the bi-saddle for years on my Cannondale Super V-500 and found it very comfortable. I now have a Raleigh Sojourn and use a Brooks B-17 also very comfortable, if I had to choose one over the other I would go with the Brooks B-17.

My favorite:https://www.specialized.com/us/en/ftb...milanosportgel
My second favorite is an old avocet spenco gel that I bought brand new 21 years ago, the textile is long gone but I want to recover it someday because it's still very comfortable.

Then why are they called seat posts and seat stays?

I am running the predecessor to this Specialized Sonoma seat on 3 bikes. It's the best money I have ever spent on a bike part.

I used a similar seat for two seasons. The seat tends to ride better a little farther down your legs which changes your whole body geometry on the bike. For me, it put a lot of pressure on my wrists and palms. It did solve prostate problems but created hand/wrist problems instead. Keep looking. bk

Why do you drive on the parkway and park on the drive way?

Bike seats/saddles are like butts: everyone has one, everyone has their preference. After several years of riding recumbents, I found that the WTB SST "upright" seats were more comfortable that any older seat. As always, You mileage may vary.
