I won a Bicycle: Belgium Brewery 20th Anniversary Cruiser

I have no idea WHAT I will do with this, probably sell it. I won it on the Endomondo site. Pretty cool just the same. Nice RETRO look.

Probably not, but that can always be overcome It's funny, I don't drink. Maybe I will fill it with Diet Mt. Dew

From what I have read, this was made by Felt.

I was at the Urban Assault Ride in Chicago, and they auctioned one of these off. I think the paint job was different, and it didn't have racks or fenders. It went for $1400 or thereabouts, proceeds went to a bike shop.

The dude said that after a year of service, New Belgium gives their employee/owners a cruiser bike like that. He also said that they are indeed made by Felt.

I appreciate the offer. I'll probably sell it local.

Congrats! Might be fun to keep around for leisurely riding. Recovery rides, if nothing else.

I work for a grocery store company in IL.

The beer and liquor companies give away all kids of stuff at these in-store drawings they do. They supply the item.

They used to give away logo'd bicycles all the time at in-store drawings, each store would probably see 4-6 drawing s a year for bikes from Budweiser, Busch, Miller Lite, whatever. They would have the color scheme and the logos on the frame. The last couple years these were usually wal-mart-grade full-suspended MTBs.

Then in the last few years somebody (? I guess the state?) passed a law that said that alcohol companies couldn't give away childrens' toys that had alcohol logos on them anymore. So all the bicycle drawings stopped, and they give away other junk now.

The funny thing we always noted about the bicycles was THEY WERE CHILDREN'S BIKES..... They were way too small for an average adult to ride--every single one that ever came through. They had frames that were like 14 inches. Basically, bicycles for 8-12 year-olds....

This is true. My buddy just got his yesterday. I'm jealous of both his bike and his job (New Belgium is employee owned and always gets top marks for being a great place to work).
