removable helmet mount mirror

So I'm looking for a helmet mount mirror that is easily removable. For my daily commutes, I think I am likely to continue to prefer the bar end mirrors. So I would like to have a helmet mount mirror that I can take on and off pretty easily, but use it for longer weekend rides on my trike. I noticed I got a sore neck when I was watching traffic on a stretch of heavily traveled roads, and I want a secondary (or maybe primary) way to look behind me.

I did search, and mostly I found eyeglasses mirrors and permanently attached helmet mirrors recommended, but maybe I missed something. In reading reviews for the Take a Look mirror, they don't seem to work great with think framed prescription glasses.. if that's not your experience those may fit the bill.

Recommendations?

willing to buy a bag of Zip-ties, and cut, and replace them to remove the mirror?

Third Eye Pro mirror.

The mirror is on the end of a plastic arm with a gimbal on both ends, the helmet end is detachable, leaving a plastic post attached to the helmet. It is almost infinitely adjustable and the gimbals can be locked (sort of) by squeezing the two parts together. It does have its down sides though. The attachment method (peel&stick) is useless. I figure out where it should be positioned and attach it with a dollop of silicone caulk. (which is removable so it can be moved to a new helmet. Its on its third now.) Also the arm is a little short so I've got mine mounted far forward.

I can see immediately behind me over my shoulder by glancing up and to the left or I can scan the entire road behind from shoulder to shoulder by pivoting my head side to side. The motion is so ingrained that I find myself glancing at it while on my mountain bike even though I know its not there and has never been on that helmet. Finally its rock solid and clear, no bleary bouncy reflections here. Under $12 on Amazon.

I've been using Cycle Aware mirrors for several years. The mirror pops off and on the piece that mounts on the helmet.

I tried bar mounted mirrors and found that either field of view was too narrow or if adequately convex, everything was too small. Also vibration from rough roads sometimes blurred the view to uselessness. I use a Take-a-look mirror which mounts to glasses or a helmet with and adapter. I bend it up so it's out of my direct forward view. Being relatively close to the eye it provides a reasonably wide FOV and rotating your head a bit allows scanning a wide area behind you.

I like this one for my helmets with a visor https://steadyeye.ecrater.com/p/68622...-visor-mounted. Usually available on EBAY too.

Thanks, I'm looking at the Third Eye Pro and the Cycle Aware, they both look like they meet my requirements. I wasn't too keen on the Take a Look adapter, but I was considering it already.

The Third Eye Pro looks like it gets the best reviews. The Take A Look adapter had pretty bad reviews.
