There is a God! That dumb bas**rd should get a spot on one of those 'dumbest crooks' shows for not wearing a seat belt. It looked like he missed the kid, thank goodness.

Nice... I hope he wasn't brain damaged (any more than he was before the episode), but it was still poetic justice...

The guys at somethingawful.com found out who taped that video and bought him a forums account to answer some questions. Apparently they knew the kid on the bike, and the doofus hanging out of the door was trying to tap him on the head or something equally stupid. When he hit the car he basically destroyed his jaw and lost most of his teeth. He supposedly made a full recovery with the exception of having fake teeth now.

I'm glad he wasn't trying to door some random kid on a bike, but screw those guys for being irresponsible dicks. BTW ebaums is for fools, fool!

It's a relief that he wasn't doing something criminal, just being criminally stupid. Earns my vote for the Darwin Award!

Which one? Ogerish kept saying he died without any proof, and that rumor spread sort of quickly.

Well I would take the "tap on the head" story with a grain of salt since no one is going to admit trying to door a kid on a bicycle from a moving car. That's admitting to attempting felony assault with everyone else in the car possibly conspiring to assault.

Actually, assault is the attempt or threat to commit battery, in this case dooring the bike rider. So the charge would be assault, not attempted assault. And, believe it or not - at least in Michigan - vehicular assault is only a misdemeanor.
