Yeah, it's still in beta testing, so they don't want to over load their servers. Doing invites only gives them control of the load on their system.

Or you can set up a second (or third) account for yourself and get another 50 (or more) and theoretically have enough to sponsor the world. (shucks, got two accounts with 50 each, if I could only think of 100 good email names I could bump my invites up to 5000).

I had 50 yesterday, so I quickly sent them all to myself for the links, now I have 50 more.

No one cares if their highly sought after or whatnot... but we do have invites and some still dont have gmail (or looking at some of the replies, have even heard of it so we're offering them.
