What was Patrick Dempsey wearing on the cover of Bicycling magazine?

Does anybody know what Patrick Dempsey is wearing on the cover of the latest Bicycling magazine? Jacket? Shirt? Jeans? I assume they're bicycle specific wear. I like the style and cut - whether or not I'd look as good as him wearing them is another matter... ha!

I'll double check the issue. I don't think there was any indication of what he was wearing. I do know that in the article, he's wearing kit (jersey, black lycra/spandex pants of some sort). Again, I don't recall the article mentioning what clothing he was wearing.

That said, those jeans kinda' look like the Levis Commuter jeans. I have the commuter pants and I like them quite a bit.

Yes, I have the magazine at home - borrowed it from the library... I don't think the article mentioned his clothing, only the bike.

I think you're right about the Levi Commuter Jeans. As for the jacket... hmmm.... it doesn't look familiar. I thought it might be Beta Brand or something, but I don't think so...

Who is Patrick Dempsey, and why should I care what he wears? I just googled him...he's an actor. Okay...

I think I've only ever seen one movie with him in it - I just want to know what jacket he was wearing on the cover!

The article was about auctioning off the custom bike in the photo for charity. Patrick Dempsey was "Dr Dreamy" on Grey's Anatomy. He is a big bicycling advocate. Does a lot of charity rides. He was in another bike magazine this month..don't recall which one but he established his own charity in Maine called the Dempsey Challenge. All the proceeds go to a clinic providing free support to cancer patients. His mother had cancer and inspired him to do something more than just being a spokes person. He also just bought a floundering coffee chain in Seattle or west coast?

Thanks, tspeters. I am glad to know that about him. I appreciate that he's a bike advocate and that he's charitably active. Sounds like an alright guy. PG
