I can't do that...I can, if I remove the wheels, I guess the 3-5 lbs does make a difference when weight lifting with a finger.

Yeah, and my bike weighs 40lbs. I didn't lift it as high as they did. I guess it all depends on how strong your fingers are.

My ~26 lb folding bike, yes, easily.
My ~40 lb (plus accessories that are on it) recumbent trike, no, although the weight isn't the biggest problem (finding somewhere that's near the center of gravity that I can get just one finger in is the problem).

That's a Lemond Bueno Aires, not the lightest bike int he world, not sure what lifting it with one finger is supposed to prove.
I'm sure I can lift my bikes ith one finger but my brain tells me to use 5 when placing the bike on a rack.

reading the responses, maybe the thread should be titled, "How much can you lift with one finger?".

Not the 1937 Schwinn. I'm lucky to lift it at all, but the mtbs I have- yes, minus the Mongoose Deception. It has a fat frame even my long crypt-keeper finger can't properly grab. What is the point, to judge the bikes weight?

I can on all of my bikes, but my carbon Madone is far, far easier to lift up than any of my others.

I can lift my 60 cm Giant Defy Advanced with one finger. It weighs about 23 lbs ready to ride excluding water bottles. I have a hard time lifting my Windsor Tourist steel touring bike with two hands! It's north of 30 lbs. Way north.

Riding a tandem now, so I'm not even curious if I could. Come to think of it, I'm not even curious if I can lift my single. I can, however, lift a 12 ounce bottle of beer with one arm several times a night. Does that count?

This little guy can lift a whole X-Wing without using any fingers.
Okay, maybe three, but he doesn't touch them!
