Looking for Bike

Sorry I am new to this forum and do not not where to post this. I am doing an 840 mile bike ride called Gear Up Florida this coming May. I am a college student paying or most of my own things. I still need a bike, however, before I go on this trip. I have around $350 saved up at the moment and just missed out on a great deal for a road bike plus gear. If you could help me find someone that would be great! I live in Alabama in the Mobile and Baldwin county area.

Thank you

Welcome to Bike Forums..

Bikes are like shoes, one needs to know his size.

Visit local bike shops and get an idea of your size and what type of bike you like.

I assume, being that you signed up for an 800 mile ride, that you know what size you need. Do you prefer straight or drop bars? Is it pretty flat?
