Considering trying a "harlequin" wrap on my drops. How much tape?
For those of you that have pulled this off, how much tape does this style of wrapping burn through, versus a traditional wrap? None of the LBS around here carry cotton tape, so I'm going to have to order it online. I want to make sure that I've got enough to realistically finish the project.

never tried it, however, considering that a normal wrap, has the tape overlap itself by half its own width, and for a harlequin does not; I'd say that you need to halve the length of the tape -on top of there being a second color. ie- same total amount of tape will get used, but it is now split into 2 different colored ribbons of half length. (per side)

4 rolls I used 2 of each color. In my case yellow and black. I did have a bit left over.

Thanks! Now, I've just got to work up the whatever to actually do it. (I'm a novice when it comes to wrapping drops the traditional way.)
