New ride pics from Markleeville, CA. Ebbetts and Monitor pass are open!

The roads are completely dry on the tops but there is still lots of snow. Its gorgeous up there. http://communities.msn.com/Bicycling...nw?albumlist=2

Ahh, I couldnt even make out that sign at work (super high resolution). Great pics, i enjoyed them.

I have a similar pass right in my back yard, the alpine loop, however it is still snowed in. Should be rideable in early June.

Gorgeous photos and all the more reason to head out to the sierra, which are really beautiful mountains. Is this the normal time for these passes to open, or are they normally closed until later? When does Tioga Pass open? And Donner Pass?

those are nice picture you have posted and the Main ride is also a nice one, but you can keep the car in the garage and do more bike riding, specially with the kind of weather you have in Nevada
