Anyone know how steep that section of Yonge st is?
By "that section" i'm talking about the section just south of yorkmills, I think it's called Hoggs Hollow or something to that effect. It's 800m, and it always kills me on my commute. Been dying to know what gradient that is.

Too steep. There have been a few times I've taken the subway and avoided that hill.

I think it is about 10% at its steepest point going south. It wasnt so bad before they extended Wilson to cross Yonge in the mid 70s, because you could use the speed on the downhill to get a good way up the other side.
