Is there a listing on the site of specific topics that aren't allowed in various forums here? Nothing like that under the Forum Rules link which goes to a general guidelines post in Forum Suggestions and User Assistance.

just about anything is allowed, subject to the rules such as prohibiting personal attacks. However everything has it's place, so politics and religion has it's own place, and there's always Trollheim for those with unusually thick skin.
Use your own judgement. Worst case the Mods move it to the right place, or you get told not to do that again.

Each subforum has a description at the top. In my experience, any thread you start in a given subforum that is so far off topic, even if it does not violate guidlines, will simply be moved to the appropriate subforum by the Mods. As an example, this very thread might suddenly be moved to the subforum "Forum Sugestions and User Assistance"

@Robert P, please PM Siu to pursue this topic. I don't recall ANYONE else ever having a problem with this matter.
