I've had several since 1999 but have settled on my beloved 2001 Litespeed Tuscany and my latest, a 2013 Cannondale CAAD 10.

I still wear mine a few days a week.
I went to an Earth Share meeting yesterday and noticed that a rep from the national board was wearing one.
So, anyone else wearing one? Or is it a 2004 "fashion statement"?

I have an uncle who died of cancer. I bought a bunch to support cancer research and gave all but one of them away. I'll wear it till it falls off.

I bought a box of 10. I will wear it until I have broken all 10 of them. I don't wear it for a fashion statement, I wear it to honor the memory of my Mother who died from cervical cancer. No matter how many stupid knockoff versions of this band come out (see the LeBron James bands kids wear now) my mother will still have been the one who taught me to live every day to the fullest.

I went to buy one during the TdF last year and everywhere in town was sold out. Been forgetting ever since then, but I think I'll go get one today. I've kind of gotten to whre I don't give a care about fashion, I just wear what works, but I think these are a good cause, and wearing them prominently helps spread the message. Bootleggers, on the other hand, have their own special circle of Hell reserved just for them, in my opinion.

Everyone in my household wears one (wife and 3 kids). I also want to get some of the pink bands to honor my mom who is a breast cancer survivor. This past week I had to travel for work and spent a good bit of time in the Atlanta and Baltimore-Washington airports. I noticed several people still wearing the yellow bands and a few wearing more than one band.

I picked mine up during the tour last year and have only taken it off when wrenching on the car or truck. Ive been fortunate to not have gone through cancer issues like many of you have, but still found it to be a good cause to donate to.

I've been wearing my Livestrong and a pink one since the Tour. Until last Thursday. A friend at work was just diagnosed with breast cancer. Her surgery is tomorrow. She's wearing mine.

I bought some and donated money to his foundation also. I don't wear them, but I do give them to friends and family.

They have a TON of them at Niketown in Chicago. They have a huge bunch of them at every cash register, and when I was there, people were just coming in to purchase the bands. Of course, I have to associate this with that Oprah show in Chicago when she encouraged everyone to go out and buy one. They reran the show again, and I'm sure that's spiking sales here.

Been wearing mine 24/7 since they came out. Perhaps it's because I'm a cancer survivor. Unlike the other chap who indicated that he would wear his till it fell off - if mine falls off, I will reach into the bag of them I have and put another one on!

I'm going to start the new trend this summer: wearing it around my seat post.
    The only trend is HOW.
    The meaning remains constant.

I took Mine off after a long time of wearing it. I know one thing, in confidence. I feel with the durability of that material ---- that it is more reliable to stay on My arm, during a fall-down. Compared to the Medi-Alert bracelet that broke off long ago. That I never replaced ---- 'cause I lost confidence in the product, since then. (and I have more confidence in taking care of Myself, than the paramedic service; {esp. the damn hospitals** ---- who are out htere to make $$$$)

Well, I guess I'll be the first to say that it was a fashion statement; at least around here. Last year they were everywhere, now I only see a handful of people still wearing them. I still wear mine every day but the numbers are going down.

I bought three last summer: one for myself, my mom, and my dad. My mom has survived Hodgkin's disease (cancer of the lymphatic system) and colon cancer. I had been taking mine off when showering or working on my bike, for example, but eventually it broke at the "S" in "strong". My dad hadn't worn his, so he gave it back to me and I've been wearing it ever since - including in the shower.
The rider in my avatar is David Etxebarria, not me.

I bought a box of 10 and gave 7 away for Christmas..They all wanted them , most are cyclists...All seemed aware of the cancer implications..I have one spare left and will wear them until they are worn and frayed..
We have had cancer victims in our family..In fact I am coping with one unfortunate situation right now....I take pride in reminding the world of the somewhat tenious tie between cycling and a cancer support network.
