Another 20+ mile ride

It was so nice today...63 out...I manage to hit the road. My times keep improving with each ride. Music is a big motivator.... Curiously what do you all listen to that just MAKES you want to pedal faster...I'm running out of songs

Time: 1h 49m 30s
Max Speed: 30.9mph
Average Speed: 11.5mph
Distance: 21.07miles

damn. You should start looking at doing organized events this summer. I bet you'll be ready for 50 miles by the end of May and looking at a century before Autumn.

EDIT: Music... I listen to all sorts of stuff, but when William Topley comes on, I really start moving. Which is interesting cuz he's kinda bluesy and it's not like the beat is fast or anything. One of his more popular songs is Wake Up... your dreams sound so sad.

HAHAHAHAHA I keep my headphones turned down so that i can hear a vehicle coming upon me...I also have to pay great attention to traffic. Even though people dislike, when I take a lane, I get more respect. They don't get as close to me.

Curiously what do you all listen to that just MAKES you want to pedal faster...I'm running out of songs :

John McLaughlin's early album "Inner Mounting Flame"
Johnny Winters "Second Winter"
Stevie Ray Vaughan "Texas Flood"
I almost hurt myself riding to "Second Winters"

Nice to see you are improving. Is it showing on your weight reduction? It probably inspires other people too. Keep your report coming.

I can't really tell it myself...like when I look in the mirror I look the same, and I don't have a scale that can weigh me properly...so I just keep working. People say I look healthier and have more energy than what I used to and a few people say I appear slimmer, esp. in the face...so I'm not sure. I'm also slowly working on changing my eating habits without going straight to rabbit food.

Looser, not more confortable. You may first notice there is more room in your jeans for your thighs and a shirt hangs lower then before.
