Making Medal Or Patch For Event

I created an event for my friends and I (and anybody that wants to join in) that leaves from my house in Ohio and crosses into Kentucky and ends up at a large German restaurant (Hofbräuhaus) in Newport. It will be 100 miles in distance. I'd like to make it a yearly thing and would like to design a patch, sticker, medal, etc. for it. Anybody have any experience on where to get a patch or medal made once a design has been .... designed? I'd probably want 10-15 of them made.

Look for embroidery shops, or award shops and such in your town. They're very common. They can make anything you want, especially if you have a graphics file of exactly what you want. Of course, quantity is king as far as price ea. goes, but there's no problem getting something done.

Yes, thanks. Personal experience is always good though. I know what bing, google, etc. are.

Good thinking on embroidery shops. I'll have to come up with a design now which I think will be the toughest part.

Another place to look if you want something like a bumper sticker or commemorative decal is a sign shop. Key words for searching are embroidery, awards, promotion, etc.

We've had patches, embroidered caps and hats, bumper stickers, engraved metal items, water bottles, etc. etc. done. When you call around ask what form they want the art in. Usually the common graphics files are fine, and once you have that, they can produce items very quickly.

Good idea! I have a collection of those that I'm proud of from the military.

If you still have friends that are stationed in South Korea, you can get them pretty inexpensively.
