Cyclist got back stolen bike, leaves cardboard cut-out and snarky note for thief

Payback! Moment cyclist who had bike stolen steals it back and leaves behind a cardboard cut-out and snarky note for the thief

Nicely done! (although I wonder if they caught the thief... hope so)

I'm sure that will discourage the thief from doing that again

It's not necessarily the bikethief who was using the bike and had locked it there. It may have been an innocent who had unknowingly bought a stolen bike.
If the whole thing went through due process then they would have had to hand the bike back anyhow - but without their lock being ruined.

Anyhow - I so hope it was the thief and that they were really annoyed.

That was merely a speedbump for the thief...Now if they would've cought the thief it would've been classic...

Or it's a clever way of going around stealing bikes right in front of people.
Demented internet tail wagging imbicile.
