Why didn't you buy the tires when you were in Japan?

There were tires called Sweetskins with kooky designs like that. Don't think they're in production anymore so ebay search will likely be needed.

Oooh, I see one of their flame design ones on Amazon right now.

Oooh, classic-cycle.de has a bunch on their site, didn't check if OOS or not, though.

I found the Sweet Skinz that Lester mentioned. No company site. Looks like they are out of production, but if you search around you can probably find some.

From what I see on the Internet, they are poseur tires. Look great, but heavy and not durable. But probably great if you have a show bike.

And here is the link to the Classic Cycle.de Sweet Skinz page. http://classic-cycle.de/en/SweetskinZ-Tires/

Ah, Japan. Those tires look like they'd be miserable to ride more than a couple of miles.

I do remember some designs in semi-slicks also.

Mongoose had rebranded "Rattleback" tires on some of their BMX bikes a few years back. I know, seems like a better fit for Diamondback, but yep, it was Mongoose.

You wouldn't want to get them dirty anyway.
