Creepy doughnuts! (pic)

capital (freak) hill, denver, on colfax of course.

didn't notice the pins stuck in the doughnut until i uploaded the pics and
realised the connotation.

i saw no recent signs of work. they better get busy if they hope to open before halloween.
i can just imagine the decor, eek!

causing extreme pain to other non-voodoo brands, presumably. same function as voodoo dolls.
see: indiana jones and the temple of doom, or abbot and costello in 'comin' 'round the mountain'.

and, to keep it relevant to bikes, i was on one when i took the pics.

I was a zombie for Dunkin' Donuts for a while after I quit smoking for the final time.

I shook the habit if not the damage...

look what you've done.
got me allllllllllllllllllll worked up , bought a patch online, AND asked for an employment app.
this could quite possibly be my most interesting job yet, if they'll have me .

https://voodoodoughnut.com

my email to them:

good morning!
i live close to your 'coming soon' store in denver. am a 60 year old back in school (to be a teacher) and looking for a part time job. this looks outrageously fun, kinda crazy and hopefully busy. i'll do my best to make vd-denver an icon. halloween is coming soon as well as the zombie crawl and zombie bike ride. great time to make a splash on denver's wilder side!
i told a friend who lives in new mexico and is almost as crazy as me (we feed on each other about aliens) about vd and she is freaking out. wants a dozen NOW. extra sprinkles. she comes to denver frequently to visit her kids.
a former co-worker (local) is also on the hunt.
there! i got 2 customers lined up for you already and the doors aren't even open yet.
i posted a couple of pics of the shop windows on bikeforums.net, and one replier said he'd gotten married in a portland store.
there!, too! i got you free advertising!
you do realise you're going to be mobbed by our counter culture? this is a good thing! the 'straights' will get into it, too, i reckon.
i'm responsible and punctual. would you please send an employment application? thanks much!

rodney j johnson jr

i reckon they'll make me the supreme head witch doctor/manager......or call the cops on me. i can just see 3 swat teams (it was a slow night down at the cop shop) and 4-5 black helicopters come a-bustin' in, tearing evathang alllllllllllllllllll up- and got the wrong address, snort! i actually double snorted on that one! man, i think i threw something out in my back...

The downtown location gets diabolically busy on the weekends, we got married up on Sandy Blvd where the shop is larger and more spacious.

Those pink boxes are a pretty common sight.

Any chance you were married earlier this year haha? There was definitely a couple getting married (or at least taking pictures) when I was there.

We were married 2 years ago this past August... our union was blessed by the patron saint, Kenny Rogers.
