Portland beauty

I cannot describe how beautiful it was riding out there today. 70 degrees, blue skies, trees blooming, and everyone's got a smile on their face. I love this place.

I nearly went to Portland for the Masters Games. They said the place was just magic. Feel free to post some flicktures so we can all see.

Nah, riding here sucks. Don't come here - there are no jobs. Lubbock is where you want to be. You can see the curvature of the earth there. Ya' all need that for good riding.

On top of everything, the volcano was erupting today, you don't want to be anywhere near Portland when she blows! First photo, today's eruption; the second, May 18, 1980.

I lived in Eugene, OR for 4 years and that area is great. I think that we are moving back after I graduate from high school here in Mass. I'm looking forward to it.

My wife and I are thinking about moving to Portland in a couple of years. Is it true about the job rate there? Are there at least medical jobs available?

Should be just as nice today, time to top off the tires and pack the bananas, I'm on it!

OHSU is in the process of expanding their facilities, Portland's basically the medical center for the state/region south of Puget Sound.

There's something wrong with Portland's weather this year. I find it difficult to ride because there's some strange orb in a blue sky and it washes everything out with some form of lustrous brightness....and the streets are all dry. And what's with the heat? 70 degrees Farenheit?? C'mon, I can't ride like this. Hopefully this nasty weather spell will pass and our regular patterns will resume -- wet, gray, sloppy and chilly. That's what we need to ride!

I'll trade your "terrible weather" for my GREAT cloudy, snowy icy, 20*F weather if you really want.

Good ol' Fitchburg, I helped open an art gallery there a couple of years ago...

Yeah, at least I'd have a gallery to hang my paintings in by the sound of it.

yeah, but that's about it. My mom frequents that art gallery with my homeschooled sisters so I guess there's some thanks to be said for that.

I'm really starting to wish I was back west about now, we've been living here for about 3 years and I'm getting the itch to be over there again.

Wait, which art gallery, the gallery I was involved with closed. Whatever there now, I don't know anything about. Its not the Free Space Gallery anymore.
