I want to try a road bike again

So anyone on the southwest coast of Florida want to loan/rent me a nice road bike for a week or so? I'd like to rent or borrow a bike to ride on my usual paved trail ride to see if my back has improved enough to ride a nice drop bar road bike again. The last road bike I had, I sold for back pain issues, now that those have been resolved maybe I can ride a drop bar bike again.

When I visted San Francisco, I found a bike shop that actually rented road bikes by the day or week. I am tall and the frame (largest they has) just barely fit with raised saddle and stem height. But it worked. Try the yellow pages for bike rentals or look at bike shops to call and inquire. Fla is a big vacation spot so you probably will find something.

Are there any bike shops in Venice that rent road bikes?
Did you ask your question in Southeast Regional subforum where more locals might read it?
