Nice Product For Carrying Additional Water Bottle

I finally located the perfect product that allows me to carry my water bottle on my handlebars. The Forte Water Bottle Cage Bracket. A really quality product that was easy to install and fits really secure.

typically band clips and pinch bolts .. 80's Specialized made one that sat in the center ,
quill stems are narrower than open face plate sorts. sitting off center solves that.

forte is just Performance bike's brand name for stuff they buy, Minoura is a maker of that sort of thing ..

My wife's bike frame doesn't have any mounts for a water bottle so this thread interested me. I found a top cap cage mount from King Cage that I think I'm going to buy for her as a stocking stuffer. See it here, second product down, on the right side column: http://www.kingcage.com/products-waterbottle-cages.html. I think this would be a little less distracting and possibly a bit safer, with the bottle held in a more horizontal position.

I use the my middle jersey pocket, which is free as I keep other essentials in a seat bag and my banana in the right pocket.

Used the Specialized handlebar cage mounting thing to kludge a Handlebar bag mount

with 2 long bolts and spacers to have knuckle room behind it ..
