Home Depot Bike Hook

So I bought two Home Depot brand bike hooks today. This is the first one installed with a bike hanging on it. The steel bar against the tire is deflecting tire the about the full diameter of the bar. It's putting a bunch of pressure against that one little spot. It actually looks worse than the picture. The one installed is all drilled and tool marked so don't think I can return it. Has anyone had any experience with a bike hanging on one of these for the winter? I'm thinking my tire will be permanently deformed by spring.

I doubt there will be any permanent deformation. I would just leave the tire deflated over the winter and you're likely to be fine.

I hang mine by the nose of the seat from just a regular threaded J-hook. Very economical.
