This is the time of the year recumbents really shine
This is the time of the year recumbents really shine, especially in the snow belt. I do not ride when it is cold, and riding in snow is not in my make up.
So now spring and the first days of the riding season is up on us. In my case with exercise my riding legs are not clear gone. So with a warm day, I have gone riding on one of my usual 30 mile routes. Riding my recumbents, there is very little soreness that first rides bring on, especially in the rump. When I was riding DF bikes, the legs were ok, but saddle soreness was not. Thankfully on bents the days of early spring rides and saddle soreness are a thing of the past.

I ride my lowracers in the spring. Drives the upright riders crazy that the wind doesn't affect me as much as it does them.
