A bike will stand up (without front tire) perfectly. he has a homemade wood rack he puts in there with quick release axle's on it that you mount the fork to and tighten. easy load and unload...way easier than minivan.
I drove a Honda Element and while it would work well I found the road noise was so bad I couldn't even hear the CD player.

2 - 10" kickers and a 1500 watt amp solves that problem! (that's what I had in the trunk of my RX-8 for 8 years).

LOL that's one way to beat the road noise but I've lost enough hearing from factory noise for nearly 40 years so I don't think that will work.

I always bring my bike to test if it will fit inside a vehicle before I buy it. No problems with dealers, I just make sure I have something to place on floor to protect their vehicle. But don't buy without testing first. Worked for me for many years.

Indeed
True but I have good enough hearing that I want my next vehicle to have a pretty quiet interior, then I can hear my tinnitus all the time instead of when I'm sitting in a quiet room. No really I've had Jeeps and small cars and a Ford Ranger pickup and old vans so my retirement gear hauler is going to be quiet. I saw a Toyota Sienna and I think it would be perhaps too big. My wife will most likely drive it more than me and she is a diminutive woman and she is intimidated by big trucks and the like.

ive done the same thing with golf clubs, when I bought the RX-8 i made sure they fit. I used to have to take the driver out before putting the clubs in, the the driver on its own.

I also measure my new Veloster Turbo before I leased it last year to make sure the bike would go in (g/f drives an RSX and I knew it needed to be same size hatch).

We have a 2010 Town & Country (the Chrysler version). I only haul my bike inside when I'm taking it for maintenance And can ride while waiting. With stow & go I just drop the passenger side middle and rear seats and in she goes! I have to angle the bike to clear the door, but it stands up with wheels on once inside. I'm going to add roof racks and a class 3 hitch for family biking excursions. There's 6 of us, so we need the inside room, lol!
