700x28-35 tube in 700x25 tire.
Would you put an oversized tube in a tire? My LBS keeps telling me to use 700x28-35's in my 700x25 tire. Do any of you do that? Is there any downside that you know of?

Shouldn't be an issue. Might be a little more of a pain to install than the smaller tube though.

THis is exactly it. Why a bike shop would direct you to a tube that is too large just doesn't make any sense at all. I always size down on tubes. I never put a tube in that even meets the tire size, always smaller. They're much easier to put in, much less chance of folds or pinches, more compact to store the spare in the saddle bag, a little lighter, and no difference in durability (at least in my experience).

I went to my LBS and he gave me new tubes. He said he was mistaken on the size tire he thought I had.
