Rear Rack on a disc brake bike...
I'm getting confused. I want to mount a rear rack to my bike but I see some racks are advertised as "disc brake mount".
My bike has rear disc brake...do I choose a rack model that says "disc brake mount" or does that mean the rack uses the disc brake mounts, so I won't be able to use my disc and the rear rack...????
I'm wanting this one...

The reason the rack is labeled disc mount is because it is designed to go on a disk fork, which has a different spread from V or caliper brakes. I seriously doubt the rack will go through a disc brake mount, but I haven't installed one in a while.
You want something disc-brake compatible. If it says "disc brake mount" it means it's compatible with a disc brake bike. If the rack doesn't mention it's disc brake compatible you can probably still use it but it might take some ingenuity (and a lot of frustration) to rig it up to work well, so it's probably better to get something that specifically mentions disc brake compatibility.
edit: TBH, neither of those racks look particularly good, IMO, but I will defer to someone who has either.
I just put one of these on my new TREK 3500 Disk. Works great. They have them on sale right now.

disk brakes usually get in the way of traditional rack mounts. so 'disk racks' typically have legs that arch out to clear the brake . some touring intended bikes may get clever with frame design to allow normal rack compatibility , lookup Surly Troll
unclejemima: what bike do you have? Many bikes have their rear caliper mounted on the seatstay like this:
Because the caliper sticks out,you usually need a disc-specific rack that will mount around it. Note, many hydraulic calipers tuck in far enough to clear a rack.
Nowadays, many bikes come with the caliper mounted to the chainstay like this:
On these, the caliper is out of the way and standard racks will work.
Here's some links to some companies that make disc-specific(and standard) racks:
