burley piccolo?

been looking for a trail a bike for my 4 yr old and placed an ad in the state wide bike pages. well today i got an email from a person who has a 2008 burley piccolo 7 speed with moose rack for $175. they say the chain would come off the front chainring once in awhile. i did ask for pictures and details about rust, tire wear, scratches, dents, and what the family liked and disliked? wondering what the experts thought of this deal? thank you all and have a great day!

Gosh, do you think you need the speeds for a 4 y.o.?

Having said that I think I like the moose rack (I had to google that puppy).

I had a Adam's Trail-a-Bike when my now 21 y.o. was that age. We had a blast!

Here you go! Still available and now folding to fit the trunk!

I think that the Burley Piccolo, along with it's bull Moose rack was easily the solidest and most stable of the tag-a-long devices. Unfortunately, it was also the most expensive.

If you can pick one up for a reasonable price, I'd jump on it.

Because the used ones, made when Burly was owned by the people who worked there, sell for so much

the Private owner that took over the company, has reintroduced them ,

after , as usual, getting someone in Asia, to work for less, making them ..
