I bought a zefal saddle, this one(Zefal Journey Bike Saddle Seat - Walmart.com )
from Wal-Mart for about $25.00.
no more numbness and no more pita problems.
I rode 40miles on it with 3 5-10 breaks and was comfortable.

best of luck to your backend and your man regions
You do realize that, in figuring out what has eluded generations of cyclists and an entire industry, you're sitting (no pun intended) on a goldmine? You won't get rich giving it out for free, though.

Less Penis Numbing Bike Saddle Recommendation

I used an old Hoskar in the STP 3 years ago...numb for a day after, really didn't fit right despite being the right width. Switched to a new Specialized Toupe+ (good cutout) and have had no problems last 2 years. My MTB seat is an older Terry w/a huge cutout...(my buddy calls it the "John Holmes Special") and it works well too.

And BTW when reclined on a bent, the boys are out front under no pressure, and get a cooling breeze now and then if you dont wear spandex.

It is a well know fact that if the boys are kept cool, men are more likely to have sons.

I respectfully disagree. Women are far more interested in a well endowed wallet.

I've been using the nose-less saddle called "The Seat -- Classic" by ERGO for over a year. It completely solved the numb crotch problem for me. It takes a few minutes to get used to the new feeling of not having something between your legs, but you soon learn you don't really need that part of the saddle. I like the "Classic" model, which is vinyl covered, better than the "Ultimate" model, which has a lycra surface and a gel-type rubber. When I got mine, it was less than $25. Price has gone up, but some sellers are charging twice as much as others, so shop carefully. Here's what it looks like:

They have a website The worlds most comfortable bike seat., but the best deals are probably to be found on the usual online stores.

If you ride short distances in a very non aggressive manner, this might be an option. But the nose of the saddle actually adds to your control of the bike, for most riders.

The OP said he was commuting, not doing aggressive racing, but even for racing, you won't know if you really need the nose or not until you try it both ways. Clearly the saddle with the nose isn't working well. So what do you have to lose by trying the noseless saddle that has many good testimonials (including me, and I'm not at all connected with the company). Look at the website's testimonials, such as this one from 2 guys who did the 2004 Tour d'Afrique race:
"'The SEAT' made all the difference in the world. We actually had a much more comfortable ride after changing since 'The SEAT' is wider and there's no pain-inducing horn,"

"After using 'The SEAT' neither of us would trade it for anything.

Joe and Edwina Mattinson

7,200 mile (11,500 K), four-month Tour d'Afrique 2004 race from Cairo, Egypt to Cape Town, South Africa (route map)

" The Mattinson's brought four normal seats with them on the trip and didn't even bother to bring them home.
And this one from a guy who surely looks like an aggressive rider in his photo:
You gave me a seat to train on......I want 2 more one for Time trial one for road bike! Will you send me 2 more gel seats? You can use may name.

The most Comfortable seat I have ever ridden.
The longest I've been continuously riding on this seat has been 5-1/2 hours on my touring bike fully loaded for self-supported camping, up and down some hills. No crotch pain nor numbness at all.

I don't believe the testimonials. Using a bench instead of a saddle is going to reduce control. And who said anything about racing?

I really liked the Selle Anatomica for several thousand miles on our tandem, but I hit a certain age(?) and that particular saddle no longer worked. My issue was more perineum pressure. I tried a number of Specialized saddles, 2-3 SMPs, Rivet and, finally, 3 different ISM Adamos. The Rivet was actually a very good fit, but despite my weighing 200 lbs I couldn't make a dent in the leather. I'm riding an Adamo Century and my perineum is happy. I'd prefer a slightly firmer saddle, but ISM doesn't offer that in the Century width, but in slightly narrow configurations several different saddles are available.

Following installation directions with the Adamos is very important FYI. Your backside doesn't touch the rear portion of the saddle; it's strictly there to satisfy UCI requirements.

Good luck with your search.

Why women shouldn't ride a noseless saddle...

...they'd be missing a great opportunity: Dailymotion - Age Gate

As far as i know noseless saddles aren't designed for racing. I rode one for 2 years in a row and was constantly pushing with my hands because i was sliding forward whatever how i tilted the saddle. My bum was perfectly happy but not my wrists and arms.
The ideal riding position is like in the first pic. I was riding more like in the second pic which is too much for this kind of saddle. A rule of thumb is that the handlebar should be significantly higher than the seat
