What are the basic dimensions of a folded up, spare tubular?

I'm making a behind the seat tool bag to carry a few essentials and need to know how large a folded up tubular tire is. I have on order a set of Veloflex Extreme 22mm tires but it will be a week until I get them. While I'm waiting I want to get this tool bag built up. I've heard of lots of people storing tires under the seat but unless the tire is a lot thinner than I suspect there's no way it will fit. I use a Concor Supercorsa and a non-standard seatpost that extends up a bit high into the concave area of the seat.

What dimensions are your spare tubulars?

Thanks,

-P

Don't have any on hand anymore, but try googling images of "spare tubular tire bag" and you'll see lot of pics of spare tubulars under the saddle to get the idea. There are quite a few commercial bags available for this purpose.

About 10" long and 4" in diameter. Just an old toe strap works well. I've also syuffed them into an old sock and then strapped it to the seat. If you have side pull brakes you can fit one between the seatstays and seat tube just below binder bolt.
