Baskets for Small Dogs - Anyone have a Favorite?

I have a tiny ankle biting dog. I'd like a fancy (safe) basket for my little yapper.
I like the look of this but but I hate the idea of spending 70 some dollars on a BASKET.

Tagalong Wicker Bike Basket with Sun Shade and Wire Safety Cage Cover - Petfavors.com

What do other tiny dog havers use? (other than a milk crate...)

For reference, she maxes out at 6 pounds when overfed around the holidays. 4.5 -5 is typical.

I wish she'd go in a bag like that... And wear a hat!! Even if it is OTT!

I'm probably one of the few 'purse pet' owners who has never put my dog in a bag. She's a dog first, cute thing last. (Well, I did once. Was out with friends at an outdoor bar. Dog was tired and shivery so I put her in my bookbag so she' be comfortable enough to sleep.)

cute little dog. i often give the dogs on the MUP a little index finger wave as i go by. it's funny when the owners wave back thinking i was waving at them.
