Great Day at the garage sales!
Holy cow, after several summers of lean pickin's at the local garage sales, I scored the following this weekend:
-Kreitler Challenger rollers, missing a belt - $15
-Raleigh Grand Prix (1970-'73). good looking lugs and a very cool generator light.-$10
-Junk bike-boom bike with Cannondale handlebar bag and Cateye computer w/ cadence - $10 (anyone want the bike?)
...And at the "$1 bike sale" going on at goodwill, I got:
-Schwinn Super Sport, hand fillet-brazed in March 1965. $1 (no kidding) Bent chainstay, but its already at the shop being straightened.
-Schwinn Collegiate in immaculate condition $1. Will be receiving the full wire basket treatment this weekend to become the grocery-getter.
-a Nishiki Century in my wifes size, $1
Needless to say, I will be going back out this Thursday morning!

Hey, that Raleigh Grand Prix is mine. I lost track of it around 15 years ago. I can tell by the generator light. I'll bet it's white with black trim... or was it red???
Congrats on the treasures for cheaper than cheap.

Kreitler challenger rollers for $15?
What a haul.
Aluminium or poly rollers?
either way a great find.

Geez, nice goin', lots of good stuff to add to your stash.
Can't find any thing interesting around here this year, just a bunch of Murray's and other junk to pass up.
I've been riding a lot trying to get ready for GOBA
Keep up the good work, you're on a roll.
