Help me identify this Globe bike?

(I tried inserting a picture not sure if it worked) otherwise I posted photo link below

I'm looking to purchase the bike in the picture it is a globe brand bike. But in the photo the two circled frame pieces look different then any globe bike I can find online. They seem to be bent inward rather then outward like on any other globes I found on Google images and there site.

Really, any info on this bike i would appreciate. If it help he wrote this in the description, what is accurate I don't know: "Adult Globe (specialized) commuter bike. 22 inch frame; front shocks. 5 years old; regular services and excellent operation -- no defects to frame".

New here and to bikes. Hopeful I'm in the right place to ask such a question!

Welcome to the Forums .

Using the "5 years old" as a rough estimate, I went looking on bikepedia and I believe that it is one of the Carmel models, likely the Carmel 1 (at least based on color, but my color vision isn't the best). 2009 Specialized Carmel 700 1 - BikePedia

Not sure, but the one in the OP looks to have a threadless headset, The one in your link seems to be threaded and adjustable. I guess that's an easy changeout though.

they say .. Specialized (the brand) Globe ( the model) looks like a small size frame .

certainly not a 22 inch seat tube ..

but .. its Craig's list , you go to the seller's location and try it on for size .

Bikepedia only lists Specialized Globe models for 2 years BikePedia and BikePedia. None of the pictures show a frame exactly like the one in the ad (upper tube going back to rear dropouts in one continuous line) but that may have something to do with the frame size. It gives the MSRP for each model. Sometimes you can figure it out by the components on the one you are looking at.
