Annoying Oakley Ads

I rarely choose not to buy something because of something about a company. There's always a first. I'm so annoyed by the name Oakley and having it pop over Velonews and other sites when I want to see the site, not an Oakley ad blocking me from seeing the site, that I'm pretty sure I'll never have a desire for an Oakley product again.

...and you do realize that typing that company name will likely ensure that the Omnigoogle will think that you are in the market and you will start seeing them here now?

but hopefully NOT as popovers...

(I'm getting survey pop overs, and only on here, but it's about time I wiped and reloaded this machine anyway)

I generally only browse the forums at work and their barracuda knocks out all of the ads. In regards to the OP where they are annoyed by the pop over ad on a website; I blame the website not the advertiser. The site has final say on whether they allow obtrusive advertisers or not. When I hit a link to something and I get an ad saying the ad will close in x seconds and I will then be directed to the site I was trying to access I just close the browser and look at a different site.

adblock plus in either firefox or chrome and 99% of your ad related problems will disappear.

Thank you. We've never used Chrome because of privacy issues and Firefox was just added to that list (privacy & security problems), but adblock works great on Safari.
