Interesting ad. I have no need for one, but in the past I did buy a trike for an ex wife who had mobility issues.

This one looks like someone bought a kit to take an existing bike, and turn it into a trike. The upside is that you retain the gears, though can't tell how by the pics. The downside is you lose a rear brake and they put both brakes on the front wheel. I hope not to take it down a real steep hill with a full load in the cargo basket.

Pretty much how it is .. even the UK hand made Racing trikes are fork braked only..

An alternative English company replaces the fork with 2 wheels up front..

Got more to invest ? there are single sided drum and disc hubs used in recumbent tadpole trikes

That'd be safest- rig both to a single lever. SA makes areasonably priced single sided drum brake.
