Just ordered my new Roubaix!

LBS finally got the price list in. Should be here next week. I was looking at the SL4 Comp either with or without the disc brakes. After much discussion, I decided on the Roubaix SL4 Expert. No disc brakes, but I really didn't care for them anyway. Worth it for the better components. Specs listed below.

I got the Black/White/Charcoal finish. I'm stoked!

FRAME
Specialized SL4 FACT 10r carbon, FACT construction, tapered/shaped 1-1/8" to size-specific lower headtube, compact race design, Zertz, internal cable routing, carbon OSBB
FORK
Specialized FACT carbon size-specific taper
HEADSET
1-1/8" upper and size-specific lower, stainless steel cartridge bearings, 10mm carbon cone spacer, w/ 30mm of carbon spacers
STEM
Specialized Pro SL, alloy 4-bolt
HANDLEBARS
Specialized Expert, shallow drop, 2014 alloy, 123mm drop, 75mm reach
TAPE
Specialized CX Pro, w/sticky gel
FRONT/REAR BRAKE
Shimano Ultegra
FRONT DERAILLEUR
Shimano Ultegra, 11-speed, braze-on
REAR DERAILLEUR
Shimano Ultegra, 11-speed, long cage
SHIFT LEVERS
Shimano Ultegra, 11-speed
CASSETTE
Shimano Ultegra, 11-speed, 11-32
CHAIN

I'm going to add some color to the B&W stock paint (I have a vinyl cutter).

Just haven't decided on what yet, or a combo.

SL4 Comp

Hello Gforeman,

Would you mind divulging the MSRP for the Expert and the slightly lower spec'd SL4 comp non-disc? I'm looking to order one of these very soon (my shop has yet to give the go ahead for order). They indicated delivery of the Roubaix next week?!

Congrats on the new rig!

I think the Expert MSRP was 3800, I do not know the others.

You're gonna LOVE it, I have a Silver/Red Expert and I can't find enough excuses to ride it... its a fantastic bike! No need to think twice about skipping disc brakes, all they do is slow you down!

Congrats on the new rig!
I just ordered the 2015 Roubaix comp, MSRP $ 3,000
main differences with the expert are:
8r frame instead of 10r
tape
brakes, cassete and chain are 105 instead of ultegra
everything else seem to be the same

Finally got to take her out today. Had to tweak the shifting a little, then put 20 miles on her. I think she's a keeper for sure. I will still probably put the Gatorskin 28's on it and take the 25's off and keep for spares.

11-32 is sweet. In the old days, nearly every one switched over their default road bike cassette to an MTB cassette because they were geared absurdly low for the hills.

Now large range cassettes come as standard on road bikes, too.

Gforeman,

Where were you able to find a picture of this bike online? I can't seem to find the digital images for the US color ways (the black/white version)anywhere. Thanks!
