Best organic handlebar tape for muggy evenings with temps between 65-91 and hail?

Just kidding.

I won a Nitto Technomic deluxe on eBay and thought about trying a new wrap when I swap stems. Here is an older picture of my bike. It currently has silver, derailleurs, stem and seat post. The bar has yellow/black splash wrap. Same wheels and fenders. Any suggestions?

This is intriguing.

Ooh, are you running half-step?

I like white handlebar tape, but it's not for people that will be annoyed when it gets dirty. I think it's charming when a bike shows that it is being ridden, personally.

I'd think some grey Lizardskins DSP 3.2 would be nice on that.

You said "organic".

1. Check out Rivendell Bicycle Works. They sell natural cork bar wrap that's closer to real cork than anything from Cinelli.
2. After wrapping your bar, coat it with about 4 to 6 coats of amber shellac. That's not as big a deal as it sounds because you only have to wait about 15 minutes between coats.

Looks great, feels good, easy to clean and about as organic as it gets..
My greatest fear is all of my kids standing around my coffin and talking about "how sensible" dad was.
