selling a new bike question...
long story short I'm selling a one month old bike. Im gonna take a bath on selling it. I was wondering if I could do a bit better by piecing it out or you guys think better to sell it as complete bike?

The problem with piecing it out is you have to sell all the pieces to get your money. If you do a lot of that kind of thing I think you might realize more from the total sale. If you don't I think it would be a lot of extra trouble and you're likely to end up with a lot of unsold bits.

I tried piecing a bike out once. What a PITA. I'll never do that again. I'll also never sell a bike where I have to ship it either. Also a pain. It's hard enough dealing with the morons on craigslist.

A used bike versus used parts... My guess is that you could make marginally more selling used parts, assuming they are not entry level, but it will cost you in time and effort.
The big difference (to me) is trying to find one person to pay a reasonable price for a bike versus several to buy parts.
With parts, it might also be harder to successfully convince the buyer that there really is a month (or less) of use on the part.
