Need help on ROWBIKE ( 726 King Rowbike )

Hello Everyone
Just brought a use 726 King Rowbike on craiglist.
I like to replace the shock cord look like the previous owner had worn it out.
Does anyone have the instruction on how to replace it and can I use any bungee cord for it.
Don't really want to buy the shock cord from rowbike website they are a rip off.

Plus not sure if it in correct.

Ive been Rowbiking 14 yrs, i use 1/4 in bungee 4m Ace hardware, also check your steering cable for fraying, it will happen sooner or later.
