LBS in London?
Cheers.
I'm on my way to London in a couple of weeks, and was wondering if anybody here could recommend a good local bike shop in London. I thought I'd take a look at some panniers, as selection of front panniers seems to be somewhat limited where I live. Addresses or web links would be greatly appreciated. TIA, --J |
There are 3 bikeshops near to the centre which are really worth a visit.
Bikefix http://www.bikefix.co.uk/ (Lambs Conduit St) and Brixton Cycles http://www.brixtoncycles.co.uk/ are very good for utility cycles. Evans (www.evanscycles.com)is good for touring kit (Waterloo branch). Condor Cycles is more race-oriented but make lovely light-touring bikes and have a superb wheelbuilder Also join the London Cycling Campagn for useful tips, maps, workshop access and discounts. There arent any other bike shops I could recomend. |
Thanks, MichaelW, just what I needed. I'll only be there for 10 days so I probably will not be riding. Just shopping around...
