I saw a device like that at a Human Powered Boats championship in SoCal. Two fans. One to give lift to the hover-boat and the other for thrust. 16 knots speed, about as good as anyone got that day. Only the thrust blades on the McCready creation were a little wider.

The two-stroke wheel-barrel bike needs some more design modifications. I think I would rather have one of the classic two-stroke powered bikes.

The video shows the guy pushing the bike around pretty easily. There's no way it weights half a ton.

I think the "1,000 pounds" is talking about some other invention.
A "do-it-all switcheroo gizmo," made by the same guy, I guess.
It's worded in a strange way, so it is hard to tell.
