I've been meaning to bolt a lockable tool box to my rear rack for a couple months, but haven't made the time. Alternatively, I've thought of adding a front rack and bolting the toolbox onto that. This would require remounting my dynamo headlight so that it isn't in conflict with a front rack, however.

I've also been meaning to swap out my plastic platform pedals with metal pedals that will better grip my shoes in wet conditions.

Rear rack. Can't make up my mind which to get. Seat post or traditional bolt on style.

Been wanting a mirror for months but not necessarily on my bike, been thinking about a helmet or glasses mirror or a little button mirror that sticks to the inside of sunglasses. I just don't know how much a handlebar-mirror is actually going to be in my peripheral vision, I don't want to have to look down at it.

I want a rear-rack too for my cheap mtb that I ride when I'm at home. My good bike is usually taken apart in my car.

I just got these pedals and love them, grip like heck, I don't ride in rain though.
Amazon.com : Wellgo MG-1 Magnesium Sealed Platform Pedal, 9/16-Inch, Black : Bike Pedals : Sports & Outdoors (I got the unpainted ones)

My "decision paralysis" isn't over mounting method (I've got braze-ons) or cost (although the one I "want" is pricey -- a Pletscher "Clem Rack", from Rivendell); rather, it's about turning my CX/road bike into a utility bike -- in my head, it's like trading-in that two-seater for a "soccer mom" minivan... makes me shudder, just thinking about it.

Handlebar bag. I am not sure which way to go. Also, money is keeping me from committing.

I have a nice Jandd front rack that I would like to mount on my Trek hybrid, but my car's rack holds the front tire of the bike. It states it isn't compatible with bikes with fenders, and I suspect that a front rack would be a problem too.

Renting the BB chamfering Tool to alter the edges of the Brompton BB shell, to get a better interface with the Schlumpf Mountain Drive crankset.

and a socket drive to tighten the lockring with a torque wrench , rather than a Mallet.

And getting the Liter sized tins of Lubricating and cleaning Oils for my Rohloff.

hoist hanger or storage rack for the entry to the House. to make the bikes parked there take up less space..

I just started looking into a lockable box to bolt to the platform on my Xtracycle. So far, I've been checking out ammo style boxes from sporting good stores, and rear travel cases made for scooters and motorcycles. I want something that has a hard shell. Have you landed on anything cool?

I have a standard toolbox made of plastic. It has a hole for adding a padlock. I figure I can drill a few holes in the bottom of the tool box and bolt it to a rack. It won't be fully waterproof. I plan to keep a small, cheap backpack inside the toolbox and/or a trash compactor bag to keep things dry. The benefit of having a small backpack inside is that the backpack would prevent tools and other items from flopping all over the place.

Ideally I'd like to get a hardshell motorcycle type lock box, but my biggest worry is that it will be too big for me to safely and comfortably swing my leg over. The toolbox seems to be a good compromise and it doesn't cost a fortune.

I tried a handlebar mirror. I ended up removing it and selling it at a yard sale. I found the mirror too far outside of my peripheral vision. Every time I wanted to look at the mirror I had to take a second to locate it and shift my focus. Also, it stuck a full five-inches beyond the side of my handlebar. It tended to get in the way more than I thought it would (carrying down stairs it would hit the wall, for example). That extra five-inches could also be the difference in getting sideswiped by a car buzzing by.

I may get a helmet mirror, but I worry that someone will steal the mirror off my helmet when the bike is locked to a rack. I've been feeding my u-lock through my helmet strap for years and I'm not about to start taking my helmet inside with me. I'll probably just take my chances by adding a permanently mounted mirror to the helmet. If it gets damaged or stolen I'll just go back to not having a mirror.

I know it sounds like heresy, I keep thinking of adding an electric motor. The cost holds me back; but every day I ride in 20+ mpg winds I reconsider.

I'd like a GPS\mapping device for my bike but they're so expensive ... and smart phones actually do a better job though there's always the battery issue.

I can live without this but it's something I'd like to have.

A waterproof pannier for my beater bike, to relace the falling-apart rear trunk bag. I looked at some last weekeknd, and I think I'll get an Ortlieb back roller type.

^^This.

I would love a cheaper, pared-down version of the Edge 1000 with the same GPS, screen, mapping, and connectivity, and without most of the training and routing related software bells and whistles.

I've never had the need with the 20ish or less mile rides I do and know in my head every turn but why not a usb power-pack in your bag with a nicely colored charging cable permanently fastened to the frame somehow between bag and mount?

I know my phone if I need it to will do every bit any gps device does and lots more, no way I'm paying big money for a dedicated gps. (got a car gps for christmas 2011, in 2012 snow still on the ground, window smashed, gps gone*)

They make power packs like 6000 or 10000 mah that'd charge something giant like a note, 3 times, or something small like an iphone 5 or less like 6 times.

Charge the power pack from a dynamo even if carrying 3x charges in your bags isn't hardcore enough.

*I had hardwired it into the overhead console, the thief actually took the 30 seconds or more to disconnect the wires instead of half a second of yanking and destroying the overhead console ???
