Got Wet & dry Chain lube in the mail

Aerotech had free shipping last week.
I ordered 2 of the 4oz WD40 Wet & 2 WD 40 dry chain lube ( Norm is $12 here , was $7.50 on sale)

Just got them from the mail box.

The Dry shakes & sounds like there's a liquid in the bottle
The Wet, don't shake at all, more like thick syrup
Mail box was around 0°f.

I was gonna run the wet on the bike this winter,
but now I think
that if it's below freezing, (water will be in the dry form ..ice) & I should put on the WD dry lube.
Use the wet for when we get above freezing with wet snow & slush,

PS: I learned that after a winter ride, the slush here has salt, important to clean/wash the bike after a ride,
let it dry overnight & lube & wipe down the next day. (So. Cal. is sounding better all the time : )

Reminds me,
Gonna take the WD40 dry unless there is a better lube for those conditions.

What's the best chain lube for So Cal, PS area.

Honestly, don't overthink chain lube. Clean the drivetrain when it gets dirty and lube it with something slippery. Right now I'm using Dumonde Tech Lite in Nor Cal, but that's because the bike shop had it on sale when I was looking for a bottle of lube.

Yea
Keep it clean & lubed

Amazing the thing you think of when cooped inside at 0° & 5-1/2 hours of daylight

Cabin fever sucks , I want to ride I really do
