exercise bike

The weather has been cold and rainy which means I'm not riding much.I'm thinking of an indoor exercise bike for rain days.I also think my wife will use it so a trainer is off the list.Looking for a recommendation and any info you may have. The online reviews are useless half love their purchase and half hate the bike.So a review from a bike person would be most helpful. Thanks in advance

It comes down to what features you are looking for and your budget. My wife and I use a Diamondback fitness 510ic indoor cycle. Iwanted a weighted flywheel and quiet magnetic resistance along with lots of adjustability. I just spent 45 minutes on it and am very happy with it.

I bought a Schwinn Airdyne for my knee rehab finding a bunch of used airdynes on the market. The airdyne it built like a tank with little to no care required.

Tunturi of NL are still making nice ones Exercise bikes - Tunturi New Fitness

Or

google: Spinning Bikes https://www.google.com/search?q=SPIN...hrome&ie=UTF-8
there is that Le Tour thing shown on TV too ..

I still just Go Outside , here .. there I sometime find exercise bikes Parked on the curb with a free sign on them ..

Notice on TV when they show those exercise things they have a Really large Tidy room to put them in ?

You got a Big House ? spare room with a Big screen TV to put in front of you to not get bored going nowhere ?.

Bored and small spaces I hung Laundry on one for a while then set it back On the curb from where I brought it in.

Had another nicer one I brought it in tuned it up and put it on consignment at the LBS ... Made a few Bucks.

How about a rowing machine instead? Upper and Lower Body exercise ..

I would like to recommend what I have been riding for seven days a week for the last four months two to four hours a day due to back surgery. Octane Fitness XR6 has literally been a life saver for me, purchased from the local LBS. Recumbent, elliptical, fully adjustable, whisper quiet, computer, etc. etc. They have a website. Good luck!
