It must be spring.

Have been pondering this for a week now cause the warmer weather causes things to get stragne around my place. Like the clippers come out and a number two blade guard goes on and the mass of hair I've been growing since I last cut my hair (read October) gets shorn and there are clumps of leg hair in the razor in the shower, not because the girlfriend's been over.
All the bikes get washed, especially the ones I rode all winter, so they aren't being stored with the grim and salt from the roads, although this winter wasn't much for snow. My tights get washed one last time before they are boxed up till next winter.
I guess it a sure sign that spring, and the bike season is apon us, or at least me.
How do you know it's Spring?

Smells like cut grass. The smell of cut grass just seems to have the smell of spring/summer.

And...

Taking the Very Long Way Home (tm) from work (or anywhere else!)...

Just because I FEEL LIKE IT!!!

Spring in Montana:

74F on one day.
27F the next with 10 inches of snow.
60F the next day with 40MPH winds.

Yep, its spring in Montana.

Allergies! And bugs! And seeing snakes dead in the road. Time to be careful trail running!

Now c'mon! Maybe they're not trashy. Maybe it's just a cry for attention. Give 'em a little attention. They'll at least get those shorts to mid thigh.

I agree with the above. When I start taking laps around the local college to take in the scenery. I know it's spring. Hey it's 3 miles mostly uphill from the campus back to my house. It's kinda like Viagra for bike riding. I have no problem getting up those hills. Snicker!
