Bib tights
I finally found some tights that actually remain tight and don't fall down my butt. Pearl Izumi bib tights--definitely worth the money. I know this is going to bother some. But this is the first bking tight or short that I can feel comfortable to wear without underwear. I'm impressed. My male parts are grateful, too.

You wear underwear with biker shorts? Is that what you are saying?
Need a poll on this one. I have never done that except the first time. Big time chaffing.
Just wear the bibs and be proud

It depends on the shorts. Most of the time, yes! I know that this politically incorrect. But I've got important parts to protect, parts which I value a lot. With the bibs, no underwear. This topic has been discussed before. We are treading on touchy territory here.

Bill, not trying to be disrespectfull. I have never worn underwear under bibs or under any other lycra with chamous padding. When your bottom gets wet (and it will) the last thing you need is a good case of swamp a$$. To me that is dangerous to the boys. Just how much protection could a pair of briefs or boxers give you anyway? In all my riding career I have never known anyone that rides a diamond frame bike to wear underwear. Now on a recumbent or trike I can see the point and those riders seldom wear "biker shorts" per say.

Politically incorrect has nothing to do with it. Hasnt this been an issue with you before? How mant times has this been talked about? Cycling shorts are made to be worn without anything under them. Some just have a problem wearing them, maybe thinking everyone is looking at there manhood. If thats a problem, try some MTB shorts with the lycra sewed in. No more polls for we all know the right answer.

You know I could do a search on ever new thread and find discussion on that subject. That doesn't mean it can't be discussed again. Lots of new riders here may have never discussed this.
So chill man.

Do a search the Forums rather then 10,000 X the same discussions. This forum is getting very stale from no new discussions and the same old, same old. You gave your answer,i gave mine. Now we all love each other. Sweet!
Also Bill has asked this before and of course got the same answers but it seems he wants to wear underware so he will keep asking until he gets afew that says yes and he can feel better about wearing underware.

I have a question. Why are you excited about finding bib tights that fit when spring is here and summer isn't too far away? It's time for bib shorts.

Now that a good question. Maybe where he lives stays cold longer. I perfer leg warmers so if it gets warm latter, you just take them off and put in a pocket.I like layers over one heavy for the same reason jacket.
