I agree with what others have posted. Those are very nice wheels and I have been using GP4000s for several years.

Someone seems to be jealous? Lol... I've been riding for 2 years and I don't know all the technical terms. My first bike was a TT bike cus I thought it looked cool, to find out from the bike shop it's not really a bike for a beginner lol. Then I brought a pretty good bike for 3k off tradme. Which was pretty much brand new (7k brand new). Keep your jealous thoughts to yourself thank you :|

I don't know those wheels, but I do know those tires are really well-regarded. If you bought better wheels, you could do a lot worse than to use those tires on the new wheels.

What's wrong with the wheels and tires you have? What don't you like, that needs to be improved?

And, what bike do you have?

And in case you haven't figured it our from our squabbling, those wheels and tires are clincher type. There's really only one other major type called "tubular." You don't have those.
I have a Foil15...yeah I think I've got the justs that clinchers = normal to me lol...and to be honest I would like to go faster lol. I can sit around 30-34km hour comfortably...for around 40+ kms hour. But if something can help increase that, then why not? lol.

Nothing unusual. I once heard of a dentist who purchased a $12000 bike he only rode twice before hanging it up in the garage.

At 30- 34 kph your current wheels are not holding you back. The wheels you are looking at at best will give you an extra .5 kph. Training harder will give you a lot more. My first sub 1 hour 40 km time trial was done with standard non aero road wheels. The only modification I made to my bike was a set of clip on aerobars. The wheels you have are already quite aerodynamic. the gains you make will be almost too small to notice

It is not jealousy it is curiosity about how one can have a bike with fancy parts and ask these questions. Usually thieves know very little about bikes or will know names of more expensive stuff but that is the extent of their knowledge because they are looking to make money or collect fancy bikes.

If you know so little about the bike that probably was a poor place to start. Also because you can buy expensive bikes doesn't mean much if you don't know some basics about it. It seems almost like a waste of bike. You don't have to be a mechanic or know every little thing but basics are pretty handy.

If I had thousands to throw around on bikes I would be damn sure I knew what I was doing. I know there are folks who just buy bikes because they can but it is just a poor way to go about it.

Unless you have gone into my head and come out and built my dream bike to my exacting specs, I personally couldn't be jealous. I cannot speak for fietsbob but I assume something similar. Most people aren't jealous of ignorance.

Best way I know is to ride with some people who are a little faster than that.

Didn't you ask these same sorts of questions in the Bicycle Mechanics forum about a month ago ... you were thinking of picking up second-hand Zipps? What happened with that?

So that would be "ride it like you stole it?"

Fair enough but with the evidence you have presented there is just something off. I don't know if you stole it but I am not accusing you of that. Really I am just questioning your judgement buying fancy bikes with no knowledge of them before you buy them.

I am also hoping that English is not your first language because there are spelling and spacing errors that wouldn't normally exist.

It is unfair to assume that just because someone has an expensive bike but lacks technical knowledge that something is hinky. It's the flip side of the assumption that a person who rides an entry or enthusiast level bike knows less than someone who owns a top of the line bike.
