The Fifth Annual Detroit Bikes! Spring Training Ride (STR for short) is a sports themed event in which the riders will cruise past current and past Detroit sports venues, including Comerica Park, Ford Field, Tiger Stadium (RIP), Olympia Stadium (RIP), Recreation Park, Veterans Memorial Park in Hamtramck (former home of the Detroit Stars) and others. Wear something that represents your favorite Detroit City team (professional, college, high school, CYO, Detroit Fútbol, etc.), such as a T-shirt or bandanna and help us welcome the warm weather!

I'm thinking about coming in from out of town for the swap meet. I may have to incorporate this ride in my plans.
Any idea how long a ride this is?

It's usually less than 20 miles. The reason for the estimated time window that's given (10am-1pm) is they make stops for regrouping ,usually a coffee house ,and lunch. At the venues ,typically someone will have a few comments while there and time is allowed for participants to take photos. You are welcome to join the ride for any portion of time/mileage you wish.
