Weekly Ride Menominee MI
Today starts our weekly rides known as the "Tour De Taco"
Every Thursday night at 6:05 we head out on a family friendly loop of 10 miles. There is also a 5 mile loop for those not wanting to ride 10. We leave from beside Cycle Path bike shop on 13th Street in Menominee Mi and end there about an hour later. This is a "NO DROP" ride. no one will ride alone, and all are looked after. We encourage first timers to give this a whack! We currently have riders from age 10 to 76!!!
After the ride, any who are interested head across the street to Stewey's for whatever their heart, and wallet desires. Thursday is Mexican Specials night at Steweys, hence "Tour De Taco"
There is also an early, fast ride starting at 5pm that leaves from Cycle Path and returns in time to join the 6pm group. In the Fast ride we try and put in about 15 miles in less than an hour. This ride was started to "take the edge" off the fast and competitive riders in the group. We hit it early then ride with the family group at a slower pace as a cool down type of thing. This keeps the ride together and a much more enjoyable outing. We will start the fast rides the first week of April.
